Deadlines
February 1, 2007 - submit proposals for research and interest group sessions and panels. Submit abstracts for all other posters, papers, workshops, roundtables, and panels.
May 15 2007 - volunteer to be a session chair or discussant. Submit papers for the Graduate Student Paper Competition.
July 9, 2007 - send final papers to session chairs and the RSS Business Office for inclusion in the RSS website proceedings.
July 12, 2007 - last day for early meeting registration. Registration available on-line in April, 2007.
July 12, 2007 - last day for guaranteed room rate of $123.00 UDS at Marriot Santa Clara.
July 15, 2007 - "Vita Assistance Program" and "Meeting Mentor Program" for New Members

Since 1969, the number of self-employed rural workers has expanded by over 240% to 5.3 million. In comparison, there was only a 61% growth in rural wage and salary workers over the same time period.
