To make your hotel reservations at the Radisson Hotel, Manchester:

Call 603-625-1000 or you may wish to register on-line directly by using the Radisson Hotel link: www.radisson.com/manchesternh. Instructions for on-line registration: put in the dates for when you will arrive and leave; number of people in room. You will then go to the rate page and on the right side of the page see: "Search for Special Rates." Enter the Promotional Code. The code is: RSS08

When registering on-line you will automatically be given the RSS room rate and will be in our block of rooms, follow the directions above. When calling in a reservation, ask for the "Rural Sociological Society" group rate. If you do not identify yourself with the Rural Sociological Society, you will not receive the discounted group rate.

Special requests need to be made at time of reservation.

Make your reservations early as the special RSS meeting rate may not be available after July 6, 2008. Reservations are subject to availability.

The hotel is all non-smoking.

Check-in time is 3 p.m. Check out time is 11 a.m. All room reservations to be held for arrival must be guaranteed by a check for the first night's room or by credit card. Make and guarantee your reservations to the Rural Sociology room block before July 6, 2008.

Hotel Guest Services and Information

Guest Services:

A heated indoor swimming pool, whirlpool and fitness center. Other convenient amenities at the Radisson Hotel in Manchester include an executive business center and complimentary shuttle transportation to Manchester Airport. (Please note: all airline carriers service the Manchester Airport)

Located at the hotel, JD's Tavern serves great food in a fun atmosphere at lunch and dinner. The hotel Café on the Park offers casual dining for breakfast in a garden atrium setting. The hotel is located in downtown Manchester with many opportunities for dining within a short walk of the hotel.

Along the Merrimack River you will find the Amoskeag Millyard District ~ shopping, dining, museums ~ and the Amoskeag Fishways and Millyard Museum. All just down the hill from the hotel.

Parking

All overnight guests at the Radisson Hotel will be granted a discounted parking fee of $8.00.

Things to do and see within walking distance of the hotel

The Currier Museum and Farmer's Market are a few blocks away. While walking there you will pass many little shops and nearly 20 family owned, ethnic restaurants within three blocks of the hotel.

The AA Baseball team "Fisher Cats" are in town Monday, July 28th through Wednesday, July 30th. For tickets see: www.nhfishercats.com.

Outbound Shipping - Each person is responsible for pick-up of merchandise by the carrier of your choice, from Radisson Hotel at the conclusion of the meeting. All outbound shipping must be prepaid.
