Education and Employment in Sustainable Food Systems Call for Papers
The journal Renewable Agriculture and Food Systems (Cambridge University Press) has issued a Call for Papers for a forthcoming special issue titled “Education and Employment in Sustainable Food Systems.”This issue will explore the critical role that learning environments and labor markets play in building resilient, equitable, and sustainable food systems.
As the global food landscape evolves, so too must the educational pathways and employment opportunities that support it. This special issue seeks to highlight innovative research, case studies, and theoretical contributions that examine:
- Curriculum development for sustainable agriculture
- Workforce training and career pathways
- Equity and access in food systems education
- Intersections of policy, pedagogy, and practice
“We aim to bring together diverse perspectives on how education and employment can support the transformation of food systems toward sustainability,” the editors note in the call.
Submissions are welcome from a wide range of disciplines, including agricultural sciences, education, labor studies, environmental studies, and food justice.
