Award Overview
Supporting graduate student participation at the RSS Annual Meeting through complimentary registration and other costs.
Eligibility
- RSS graduate student member
- Submitted will be reviewed based on need (i.e., does the student have alternative funding sources via their department or advisor), and importance of the meeting to the student’s career trajectory.
- Abstracts will be evaluated based on relevance, innovation, and potential contribution to the Natural Resource RIG.
Requirements
- Submitted abstract to present at the annual meeting in the area of environmental or natural resources sociology.
- Cover letter describing how the presentation contributes to the area of environmental or natural resources sociology.
- All award applications must be submitted through the official RSS website submission portal. Applications sent via email or any other method will not be considered.
