Award Overview
Encourages graduate student involvement and professional development by awarding the best graduate student paper submitted for the RSS Annual Meeting.
Eligibility
- RSS graduate student member
- Papers must be authored by graduate students who are members of the Society; for multiple authored papers, all authors must be graduate students, although only the first author must be a member of the RSS
- Master’s theses and dissertations will not be considered
- Society-wide, but interest groups are encouraged to nominate candidates
Requirements
- Completed paper of standard journal article length and format – 12 pt font, double-spaced, 20-30 pages
- CV
- Faculty advisor letter certifying student status
Award
- Award Recognition and Certificate
- $300.00 Honorarium
- Three nights hotel coverage at the conference hotel
- One year student member to RSS
