We’re excited to welcome you to the 88th Annual Meeting of the Rural Sociological Society. This year’s gathering brings together researchers, students, practitioners, and policymakers to share ideas, build community, and advance the field of rural sociology.

Your registration includes access to all sessions, the President’s Reception, and the Awards Luncheon. Discounted rates are available for students and emeritus members, and additional support is available through travel fund donations.

If you plan to present, please ensure you are a current RSS member prior to registering.

Cancellation Policy
If cancellation of your registration becomes necessary, you may send written notice to Ashley Smedley, asmedley@ruralsociology.org. Cancellations made by June 1, 2026 will be accepted. A $50 administrative fee will be assessed on all cancellations. Confirmed registrants who do not attend the conference or who cancel after June 1, 2026 are responsible for the entire registration fee.
