Hazel Velasco Palacios speaker at Farm Stress Series webinar by Pennsylvania State University Extension
Hazel Velasco Palacios, post-doctoral research associate at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, was recently a speaker at a webinar conducted as part of the Farm Stress Series by Pennsylvania State University Extension. The webinar was titled “Farm Workers and Health Care Exclusions” and explored how healthcare exclusion affects immigrant farmworker families and examine opportunities to strengthen support through practice, extension, and policy. Velasco Palacios’s research focuses on gender, migration, health, and development.
