Aysha Bodenhamer steps into new role at Radford University
Aysha Bodenhamer, Associate Professor in the College of Humanities and Behavioral Sciences at Radford University, recently transitioned from her role as the university’s Sustainability Manager to being the Acting Director of Appalachian Studies. Bodenhamer is a Radford alumna and has worked extensively with the Appalachian Studies program, including planning the 2024 Restoring Appalachia spring break trip. Bodenhamer’s major areas of expertise include environmental sociology, environmental health, occupational health, natural resources, and energy.
