Yue Xu publishes book review with Sociological Review Foundation
Yue Xu, a PhD candidate in sociology at Colorado State University, recently published a review of Filippo Menga’s book “Thirst” in the September 2026 edition of the Sociological Review Foundation’s publication. Xu’s research focuses on rural development and policy, agrifood systems, and fisheries and marine governance, and in her review of Menga’s book, she discusses how Menga urges readers to rethink the meaning of water, the water crisis, and its political, economic, social, cultural and ecological costs within a neoliberal context.
