Shuang Li joins USDA-NIFA funded AgrAbility team
Shuang Li, assistant professor of sociology at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University recently joined the USDA-NIFA grant team with the North Carolina AgrAbility team, which was awarded a $720,000 grant this fall. The program assists farmers amp; farmworkers struggling mentally or physically to stay in production agriculture to remain in production agriculture; the project has a statewide focus, including tribal lands. Through on-site support, equipment recommendations, and organizing other assistance, their goal is to make it possible for individuals to continue working in farming for years to come. Li is joining the team as the evaluator and Quality of Life lead.
