Annual Meeting Volunteers Serve. Connect. Attend.
RSS is looking for Student Members to serve as Meeting Volunteers at the 2026 Annual Meeting in Raleigh, North Carolina July 29 – August 1, 2026. Each accepted volunteer will be required to work 11-13 hours during the course of the meeting. Complimentary meeting registration will be offered in exchange for volunteer hours. Applicants must be current Student members of RSS.

Volunteer Position Details
Name Tags
Responsible for helping prepare the name tags for registrants.
Poster Session Setup and Take Down
Responsible for helping with set up, take down and directing presenters and participants of poster sessions.
Registration Desk
Responsible for registration set up and member check in.
Session/Plenary Room Monitors
Monitor Plenary and Abstract Concurrent Sessions during the meeting Wednesday-Saturday. Serve as a point of contact for session chairs should they need assistance and conduct multiple room counts throughout the session.
Speaker Ready Desk
Assist conference presenters with loading their session slides.
