Edith-Marie Green featured in Inside UW
Edith-Marie Green, PhD candidate in Population Health Sciences at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, was recently included in a piece for Inside UW and the university’s International Division. Green, who is also a NIA T32 Graduate Trainee through the Center for Demography of Health and Aging at the university, was recently awarded a Fulbright Open Study/Research award. Celebrating its 80th anniversary in 2026, the U.S. Department of State’s Fulbright Program offers participants from 160 countries and locations the opportunity to study, teach, and conduct research abroad. Green will be working with Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin and the Survey of Health, Aging, and Europe in Berlin during her Fulbright grant period conducting field work for her dissertation project, which focuses on loneliness as a dementia risk factor.
