Florence Becot publishes article in the Journal of Agromedicine
Florence Becot, Nationwide Insurance Early Career Professor in the Department of Agricultural and Biological Engineering and Agricultural Safety and Health Program Lead at Pennsylvania State University, recently published an article with colleagues in the Journal of Agromedicine titled, “Are We Lost? What is the Role of OSH Researchers When Structure is the Issue?” The article is a commentary focusing on why high rates of agricultural injuries and fatalities remain despite decades of research, interventions, and outreach. The article is focused towards those to work in agricultural health and safety and centers on persistent gap between research findings and policy action.
