Call for Working Groups International Rural Sociology Association

The International Rural Sociology Association (IRSA) invites proposals for Working Groups for the XVI World Congress of Rural Sociology, to be held in Porto Alegre, Brazil, July 19–23, 2026.

Working Groups are collaborative sessions led by 3–5 researchers focused on key themes in rural sociology. Proposals are open from April 30 to July 30, 2025, with selected groups announced on August 15, 2025.
